Announcement: The Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California invites applicants for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will work with the Division’s current faculty members to develop and implement occupational therapy services and direct patient care in coordination with the interdisciplinary team and in compliance with organizational goals and appropriate regulatory agencies. Position is available in primary care occupational therapy practice.

Qualifications include: an earned M.A., O.T.D., Ph.D., or other terminal degree; excellent clinical ability (advanced practice in primary care, pediatrics, and lifestyle redesign, and preferred); experience working with patients through the lifespan; and current license to practice occupational therapy in California.

Announcement: The Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California invites applicants for a part time clinical faculty position to teach in the professional occupational therapy program. The successful candidate will work with the Division’s current faculty members to develop and teach a module of OT 411 Clinical Reasoning focused on the principles and practices of documentation. The applicant must be an expert in documentation and coding issues in educational, research, and clinical practice environments. The candidate should have expertise in the ability to understand and teach basic compliance principles and concepts, documentation, billing, coding of occupational therapy services, and critical updates of regulatory changes and new proposed rules.

Qualifications include: a BS in occupational therapy; prior experience teaching this content; and current license to practice occupational therapy in California.

Announcement: The Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California is seeking a new full-time tenure track faculty member to join our scholarly community at the rank of Assistant Professor commensurate on experience. The successful candidate will contribute to the Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy’s scholarship. We are seeking qualified applicants who are situated to direct a funded research program that generates knowledge related to rehabilitation for stroke patients.

Qualifications include: 1) an earned PhD or other research doctorate degree in occupational science or other related field, 2) postdoctoral training in areas related to stroke rehabilitation, 3) successful history of interdisciplinary collaboration, and 4) eligibility for California State Board of Occupational Therapy licensure.
