Biography

Bonnie Nakasuji is co-owner of Therapy West, Inc., an internationally recognized leader in clinical services for pediatric populations with physical and neurodevelopmental disabilities. As such, Dr. Nakasuji brings a wealth of expertise in pediatrics and child development as the Co-Lead Instructor of the Pediatrics Clinical Immersion in the Division's newly redesigned professional program curriculum. She holds many professional and clinical certifications, including those for the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test, and Neuro-Developmental Treatment, and for decades she has served in many other leadership capacities for the American Occupational Therapy Association and various other professional and community organizations. Dr. Nakasuji is most familiar to current and recent students for her role in coordinating the international Level-I Fieldwork Education experience at Mephibosheth Training Center in Ghana, West Africa. Dr. Nakasuji also holds an appointment as part-time faculty at Santa Monica College, in Santa Monica, California.
