Instructions for Updating Your Faculty Page
Log in
Go to https://www.digitalmeasures.com/login/usc/faculty/ which will require you to click “here” for a different link for faculty so don’t fill in anything on that page. Log in using your USC user name and your 8 character USC password (same as for blackboard and grade sheet).
Biography and Research Interests
Look in the “General Information” section for “Web Profile” slightly more than half way down that section and click on it once. You will see two text boxes at the top, one for biographical Information and one for research interests. Make changes and then click “Save and Return” button at the bottom left of the screen.
Publications
Scroll down to the “Scholarship/Research” section and click on “Intellectual Contributions (Publications).” There are lots of options, and it can be a bit confusing because the same form is used for a wide variety of publications. For a journal article, the Title of Contribution is the name of the article and the Title of Publication is the name of the journal. For a book, there is no Title of Contribution, just the Title of Publication, which is the name of the book. A book chapter is a combination of these. Only entries which have been published are included on the web page. You can make changes to existing entries by clicking on the “EDIT” link. When finished, click on the “Save and Return” button at the bottom left of the screen.
Log off
When you are done, click on “Logoff” which is the last entry on the left side menu. The pages are updated once an hour between 8 am and 5 pm, more or less on the hour Monday through Friday, so it may take awhile for the changes to appear.
