iPad and iPhone Email Access

Any users wanting to use an iPad or iPhone to view email messages from the mail server must create an account on the iPad or iPhone to retrieve those messages.  To create an account on either device, you will need to do the following:

• Select Settings from the list of Apps (icon has gears/sprockets, like the inside of an old clock).
• Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
• From the Mail, Contacts, Calendars menu, click Add Account….
• Select Microsoft Exchange.
• Type the following information into the appropriate boxes:
  • Email – your USC email address (i.e. .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)).
  • Domain – OSOT.
  • Username – “username” (without the quotes).
  • Password – type in your OSOT-based password.
  • Description – enter whatever you like, such as OT Mail.
• Click Next.
• After the phone attempts to verify your settings, a new box will appear titled Server.  Type otmail.usc.edu into the Server box.
• Click Next.
• On the Select info to synchronize using Exchange window, click Done.
