How Your Support HelpsYour gift to USC OS and OT pays extraordinary academic and societal dividends. Whether it’s in the classroom, the laboratory, the hospital and clinic or in the community, USC OS and OT students, faculty, an alumni share high ideals and a powerful commitment to make a difference in the lives of those around us. We invite our alumni, friends and supporters - individuals, corporations, foundations, and nonprofit patrons of education and research - to join us in building on excellence. We are expectional stewards of the funds entrusted to us, and are faithful to the high purposes the university brings to Southern California, the United States, and the world. Unrestricted gifts allow the Division to allocate funds wherever the need is greatest. Your donation can be used toward space and equipment, funding research, endowing faculty positions or for student scholarships. Endowments allow individuals, foundations and corporations to create a named, endowed fund designated for a specific purpose in the Division of OS and OT. The principle is invested in the USC endowment and is expected to grow interest each year. After the second year, 5% of the funds are used each year thereafter to fund the specific program, scholarship, fellowship or faculty position. |
