Announcement: The Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California invites applicants for one full-time clinical faculty position in adult inpatient physical rehabilitation unit. The successful candidate will work with the Division’s current faculty members to develop and implement occupational therapy services and direct patient care in coordination with the interdisciplinary team and in compliance with organizational goals and appropriate regulatory agencies.
Qualifications include: an earned O.T.D., Ph.D., or other terminal degree; excellent clinical ability (advanced practice in rehabilitation and neurology preferred); experience working in adult physical rehabilitation; and current license to practice occupational therapy in California.

The successful candidate will work with the Division’s current faculty members to coordinate both Level I and Level II Fieldwork in Mental Health. This involves developing sites, placing and advising students, and documenting compliance with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) standards. Position may include teaching opportunities.
Qualifications include: an earned doctoral degree in occupational therapy (O.T.D.); experience working in community mental health; and current license to practice occupational therapy in California.

Research Assistant Professor

Announcement: The Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy is seeking a Research Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) to support grant development and conduct research in the areas of pediatric dyspraxia and autism spectrum disorders. This position would also consist of teaching courses in pediatric occupational therapy in our professional program.
Qualifications include: doctoral degree; experience in grant development and rehabilitation research in pediatrics, prior experience in teaching pediatric occupational therapy, and completion of a mentored postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric rehabilitation research is preferred.
