Tuition and Fees

The University of Southern California is a private institution where tuition is the same for all students. Residents of California, residents of other states, and international students all have the same tuition rate.

Tuition for 2013-2014 is $1,536 per unit. Estimated 2013-2014 tuition and fees for undergraduate and graduate students in occupational science and occupational therapy are presented below. Tuition and fees are subject to change and are expected to be the same or slightly higher for 2014-2015.

Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s Program

USC Financial Aid Office estimates annual costs of $12,133 for room and board, $1,500 for books and supplies and $580 for transportation.

Two-Year Master’s: Entry-Level Professional Program

USC Financial Aid Office estimates annual costs of $16,000 for room and board, $1,444 for books and supplies and $2,520 for transportation. International students incur an additional orientation fee of $55.

One-Year Master’s: Program for the Practicing Therapist

Note: Above costs are listed for students who have earned a Master’s degree in the Division within the past five years. All other students may require additional coursework to be determined.

Doctor of Philosophy in Occupational Science (Ph.D.)

Currently, students selected for admission to the Ph.D. program are awarded fellowships or assistantships which cover full tuition, an annual stipend of $28,000, and student health and dental benefits. Total support is estimated to be about $60,000 per year.
