Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is an annual alumni participation drive, raising funds to keep the Division on the cutting edge of education, research and practice. These funds provide a mechanism for the Division to reach entrepreneurial goals in program development which are not typically funded by Federal grants and tuition.

Alumni participation in the Annual Fund is a statement that alumni endorse and support of the work of the Division and a gift of any amount makes a difference. In the Annual Fund the number of alumni who participate is even more important than the dollar amount of the donations. Potential students, faculty, and major donors who are considering joining the USC Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy view alumni participation as one measure of the success of a program. It is a key factor in the ranking of universities by influential media such as U.S. News and World Report and is a widely publicized statistic throughout the University.

A strong alumni support base creates an upward spiral and has an outward ripple effect creating improved opportunities for the Division to support student, faculty and alumni education, practice and research.
