Veterans Day Appreciation Reception

We are happy to be hosting the 4th Annual Veterans Day Appreciation Reception this year to honor all who have served. The USC Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy hosted the first ever Veterans Day Appreciation Reception in 2008 in response to an initiative led by a group of occupational therapy students.

The reception is open to all USC students, staff, faculty, and alumni who are veterans.  Friends and family are welcomed and encouraged.

A light dinner will be provided as well as a cash bar and live music entertainment.

The keynote speaker for the evening is Deputy Assistant Secretary René Bardof.  René Carbone Bardorf was appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs for Community and Public Outreach in November 2011.  She is responsible for advising the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs on matters relating to outreach, community relations, and social media. Read more of her biography at the US Department of Defense website www.defense.gov/bios.

We hope that you are able to attend and look forward to sharing in an evening of celebration and appreciation.
